Illustrated with a colour map inside the front and back cover. Nice and clean pages but with some marks and ink marks on the outer edges, previous owner's stamp with name inside the title page, small creases on the edges of the pages. The book is in VGC for its age with light shelf wear on the Dj cover. 911pp including Appendices I to IV, terminology of the Imperium, cartographic notes for map endpapers. A collectable and scarce first edition. Heavy book (approx. 1.3 Kg).
